Motunrayo Esan
Executive and Research Director

Motunrayo is a doctoral researcher in Political Science at McGill University, focusing on democracy and insecurity in Africa. She holds a Master of Arts with Distinction in International Security from the University of Sussex and a first-class Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with Journalism from the University of Buckingham.

 

A passionate researcher, Motunrayo has received multiple academic awards for her research skills, including the prize for best dissertation in International Security at the University of Sussex. She has also mentored many university students in key research and academic writing skills.

 

Motunrayo is deeply committed to ensuring that no girl is limited by something as normal as periods. Her lived experience of period shame inspires her advocacy for research-driven solutions to period poverty and stigma, including removing barriers to positive menstrual education for everyone.

Joy Oyeneyin
Administrative Assistant

Joy holds a bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering from the University of Kyrenia. She currently serves as an Administrative Assistant and Interim Chapter Lead for Abuja, where she is responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring smooth execution of tasks. Her strong organisational skills and leadership abilities are key to her success in this role.

 

Joy’s people management expertise was further developed during her previous position as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in a religious organisation for three years. She has also volunteered and freelanced in various roles, addressing both individual and organisational needs.

 

A firm believer in the limitless capabilities of women, Joy is deeply committed to empowering girls in her community. Through her work and dedication, she strives to foster a more inclusive, equitable society for all, working tirelessly to make a positive impact.

Gift Aribisala
Administrative Assistant

Gift holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ekiti State University. As an Administrative Assistant focusing on media, Gift plays a vital role in managing our media-related administrative needs. His work ensures that records of meetings, appointments, and all related activities are carefully maintained and organized.

 

In addition to his administrative role, Gift is a Web Developer, Graphic Designer, and Content Writer. He believes in the transformative power of media for social change, which drives his contributions. Gift supports the Foundation by providing technical support, designing timeless visual identities, and managing an arm of our social media accounts.

 

His expertise in media and technology helps us reach a wider audience while maintaining a professional and consistent online presence. Gift’s dedication to creating positive social impact is evident in all his work.

Ayomiposi Morakinyo
Chapter Lead, Ondo

Ayomiposi holds a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Biology and Chemistry, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education, both from Adeyemi University of Education.

Ayomiposi has a strong background in volunteer work, driven by her passion for advocating for the rights of women and marginalised groups. 

 

Prior to joining us, She spent over two years serving on the leadership team of one of Nigeria's foremost nonprofit organizations, focusing on advancing climate justice. In this capacity, she contributed to various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable communities.

 

Her volunteer work and social impact endeavours have always been rooted in a deep desire to create positive change, especially for girls and women. Ayomiposi’s commitment is driven by a simple yet powerful belief: to see communities and individuals, particularly girls, empowered and thriving.

Cecilia Williams
Chapter Lead, Lagos

Cecilia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Lagos State University and works as an On-Air Presenter at LASU Radio. With a solid background in communication, she excels in connecting with diverse audiences and fostering impactful discussions.

 

A serial volunteer, Cecilia is deeply passionate about advocating for the rights of the girl child. She actively participates in various initiatives that promote gender equality and empower young girls, helping to break down the barriers that limit their opportunities.

 

Cecilia is a solution-driven critical thinker who takes a proactive approach to addressing community challenges. She consistently identifies problems and works to develop effective solutions. Known for her respect for others' opinions, Cecilia values open dialogue and collaboration. Her commitment to creating positive change drives her to make a meaningful and lasting impact in her community.

Bridget Agoi
Creative Lead (Photography and Video Content)

Bridget holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Obafemi Awolowo University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Ibadan. As the Creative Lead, she manages the Photography and Video Content Team across all four chapters, driving awareness for the Foundation's mission and ensuring they are effectively communicated through compelling and impactful visuals.

With over three years of professional experience in videography, photography, and content creation, Bridget has achieved significant results. In 2024, through her creative contents, she raised over 3 million naira for the Foundation and various impactful community-focused projects.

Passionate about volunteering, Bridget combines her skills with a commitment to societal impact. She also serves as the Chapter Lead of our Ibadan Chapter, contributing to the Foundation’s growth and fostering meaningful community engagement.

Deborah Oladimeji
Welfare Lead

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and International Studies from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko. She is a seasoned Public Communicator and skilled Baker who consistently demonstrates excellence in all her endeavours, blending creativity with precision.

 

Passionate about advocating for the welfare of the girl child, Deborah is deeply committed to creating meaningful change. Her advocacy drives her to dedicate time and effort to addressing issues affecting girls, ensuring they have access to opportunities, education, and support for a brighter future.

 

By combining her public speaking expertise, baking talents, and unwavering dedication to advocacy, Deborah exemplifies a unique blend of professionalism and social responsibility. Her multifaceted approach allows her to champion causes that empower girls and contribute to building a more equitable and inclusive society.
